I blew it....... probably, hopefully not though.

So I picked up a mag a few months back and it blew out some seals almost immediately. It's an L7 I believe with a blue spacer. The on/off is nearly perforated and about half as thick as what I remembered them being. Anyway I rebuilt all aspects and hopefully have my rings right. The valve blows air out the back and i think from the on/off.

I neglected to mention that it's warp fed with an egg a sight rail and a homebrew raincovered barrel. Ill toss some pics up of the barrel.

any ideas on where to begin with troubleshooting the valve?

This is just an aftermarket part. No on/off top upgrade gives a performance upgrade.

The on/off is 0.186" and the pin is 0.752".

That on/of top looks up side down that way

So I was looking over some of the parts, and I noticed that's the new rings aren't really sitting well and they feel hard. The rings themselves don't seem very pliable and also appear to be loose.

I can't find anything else that seems to be attributing to the leaks. These are fresh rebuild packs though..

They are 90D orings so they will feel harder than the standard 70D. I can't give you an answer on the fit though.

If it is leaking out of the back, the velocity adjuster. It is either your piston oring, piston seal or your pressure is too high.

High pressure might also be from the spring pack being upside down, yes?
