    Leaky hardline question

Before I commit to surgery to correct other leaks I had a question.

I believe I cut one of my hardlines just a hair too short, it has a tiny amount of wiggle back and forth when de-gassed and leaks where the line plugs into the fitting. Parts have already been anno'd so I'm more or less committed to what I have.

Fittings, orings and lines are all new.

Is there a fix or am I SoL? I can by pass the leaks but I like the ergonomics of a hard line set up if I can make it work.

Picture of what you are working with would help.

Will be a few more hours until I get off work but I can do that

I eliminated the shifting back and forth. Had a dumb moment and realized I could push the asa forward more.

Still leaks where the line meets the fitting at the bottom of the grip.

Leaks with both hardline and macroline in the same spot. Something's wrong with the fitting but I'm not sure what.

Now that you pushed it forward, loosen the ASA and pull it back hard - locking it in place while keeping it under tension.

Siress somewhere between your suggestion and playing with the height of the fitting fixed the leak. Just need to re-teflon the fitting and I can commit to stripped threads on the other half of the grip. Thanks.

Those types of fillings are prone to leaking. If you still have trouble replace the inner sealing oring. They get cut at times when installing line threw them especially the aluminum hardline that have a sharp edge. The fittings don’t bite into the aluminum like it dose on standard macro. You can try a bit of Dow 55 on them as well if you can’t get them to seal.
