    What reg is this?

I recently bought this as a project off of eBay and couldn’t figure out what back half / reg this is. Can’t say it’s something I’ve ever seen before and I haven’t had time to fiddle with it yet. Any ideas?

Looks like the bottome portion of an Air America regulator

Except Black Ice regs didn't have "ONLY" printed on their lower half like that does. Isn't this one of those Centerflag Hypermag reg kit things? I'm sure superman would recognize this.

That is not a Centerflag reg half. Centerflag regs are less angular, something akin to finger grooves but not quite. Knurling is present on them, though it's much less. And the silver adjustment knob at the bottom will unscrew completely and has no threading for a cap.

likely a messiah or the like. Basically the same as an agd reg internally with maybe bit more porting.

Very interesting thanks all. I took it apart this evening and the guts appear identical to the AGD reg from the classic mag I had a long time ago.

it actually has “3000 psi service only” printed on it

The 3000 psi marking is moot in this application. This will only see pressure from the output of your bottle and at the most for some HPA bottle Reg is between 1000-1100 psi. Even if you tried to use this directly with CO2 the max steady state pressure would be in the region of 1800 psi. It will most likely only see pressures in the region of 800-900 psi.

They made vert feed minimag body or if it was modified, who made it?
                  Also whick feedneck is this?

I'll have to take some more pics the next time I have it off. It was a stovepipe body that was cut down.

Just taking a guess the feedneck may be an AGD ULE feedneck.

Feedneck is a planet eclipse slipped over a cut down stainless vertfeed minimag body.

It cant be an AGD ULE feedneck. Those have threads that screw into the body. Stainless bodies had no such threads. It has to be a cut down.

                  This is correct.

There's no way to install a ule on a body with a fixed feedneck

Thanks for clarifying all. Shot it this weekend and it performed pretty well after I did a complete o ring swap. Survived a day of woodsball with a ton of eliminations

Looks like my Planet Eclipse low rise GEO feedneck!

That's a good looking minimag right there.
