    Micro

My neighbors kid is thinking of getting into paintball. His brother in law gave him this... I was not expecting that when I saw the box.

gonna recommend he sells it to get something a bit less work. What is the going rate for these?

Fixed barrel Micromags fetch good coin. They are the original ones.

      I'd guesstimate $600 range.

If no leaks and fresh build, it will be trouble free for years. I would keep it. Great mech. If needs rebuild, fresh kit from AGD and good for years to come.

Just tell him to be careful out of the field or other places. Some ppl will walk off with that.

Id honestly get him to shoot this. Most guys swear by mags over most other platforms for "it just works" capabilities. If you get that shooting, it'll keep working for years.

It sucks that it's missing the detent. The OG micros had aluminum detent assemblies if I recall. wouuulf has a few real oem plastic detents for sale. I also have some 3d printed ones I got from reconsws years back. You would have to source your own roll pin and springs. IF you can get the kid to keep this, I can likely send one of two your way to get it working.

It probably is 3-5 drops of paintball gun oil away from simply working!!!

Lucky. He should keep it and get some fresh seals into it. I had a classic years ago and I wish I kept it but yeah, Keep Keep.

I've heard they are reliable enough to run as a main. But for what it's worth, you could sell it, and buy a whole setup. Unless he also got a tank, mask, and hopper with the mag. If so the kid should run it. Small markers are the best. Might even be ideal if he is small . I would of loved this over my first marker. A Freak Green GOG Extcy. Probably would of been more reliable, and would have saved me from buying 9 Volts. .

Yeah. This is where I’m at. He doesn’t have anything other than this marker. It is awesome but not the best option for him

Neighbor wants the cash rather than gear. Gonna be listing in rare and old shortly.
