Drill and threaded

Anyone have an idea why someone would drill and thread a hole here on the frame. From the bottom the trigger is completely in the way if it was aired up.

Was this maybe used or tried to be used on another marker?

Just curious more than anything.

I think F1FX is correct but I've also seen where it can be used for magnetic return by crazy gluing a magnet to trigger and to the setscrew for a magnetic return effect works great if you can't deal with that "trigger slop" I know I despise it thoroughly!😁 especially when you have a very nice marker and then have that benchmark slop!
