Why are automags so addicting?

So rationale starts like this. Well I got an extra trigger frame, rebuild kit and a body tube....if I can just find a rail, valve, bolt, barrel I could put something together for my nephew. Thanks ebay.....

This is why we love them!
This and being able to remove the valve with 1 thumb screw and a second one for all the other main parts. For a semi it's quite rare.

Hahahahhaha.....well in the end I did end up ordering another benchmark double trigger for it....so hey I got an extra trigger frame...now if I could just find a body tube, valve, barrel.....

Pulling the bolt apart to change the seals, it's got an ans bolt and phase 2 backshell, but the on/off valve seems a bit weird. Not one I recognize and doesn't have the little brass floor plate in there.

thats a reactor on off, never tried one, so I cant say how well they work compared to stock

Be careful to not lose that stainless disc, it was common to lose them when taking the valve out of the gun

Awesome thanks for the info. Seems by all the ans parts this was one of those buy all the mods that just act like a stock bolt sort of thing. Well will give the whole thing a shot, got the whole valve for pretty cheap and it looks to be in really good shape other then the rings are shot.

same reason JTs are still so popular, when there's objectively better/more functional masks.

I started the month telling myself I needed to build another pnuemag. I found one body I wanted then couldn't pass up a killer deal on a second one. Guess I'm building 2 more now. LOL

Yeah....I started looking at doing a pnuemag and was like hmmmmm I've got a machine shop in the backyard....why not just build one completely from scratch....then I was reminded there are still two lathes I need to finish rebuilding and a horizontal mill and finish running all the shop air....
