    Automag 3...Begins

Well, the force is strong with automags. Beginning this ule build with a helios body from Bearded Works. Starting to figure out parts and waiting on X Valves to pop back into stock at agd, since no one wants to seem to part with one. Thinking the agd rail dig the milling on it, still undecided on the rest of the bits.

That body looks a heck of a lot like one of the CCI "Fleet Mags" that hit the market several years ago.

Thanks for the link, some good info on the body there. Despite most people not liking the look of it I kind of appreciate the simplicity of it. Really want to wrench the neck off so I can get the beauty cover off and have it anno'd og 90s green but I ain't mad at the red really either.

Chuck E Ducky and Riot both made really light automags with carbon fiber body, barrel and foregrip and light rail like the RPG rail or luke rail and Xvalve.

cougar20th was making a run of carbon fiber body not long ago

Not sure how they weight compare to the new guns, butfor an automag they where really light.

Here is Chuck E Ducky's mag

Riot It will be a tie once the rails are machined. At that point only feednecks and asa's will be different. Everything else will be the same.

Kit made me an aluminum Classic valve a few years ago that I used with a reg cap and an external reg. It was pretty lightweight.

I believe Olsson owns that one right now... it's a electro pneumatic build I did with a BKO frame and WGP SF board.

As mentioned above, a couple of us have super light mags. me and cougar20th’s are lighter than an Emek.

My ule warp feed mag is pretty light without the warp feed. I bought the ule body and it had already been milled down in the front so it's just a stub. Carbon single trigger frame is pretty light too. The rail is stock looking but milled on the inside from a previous owner. Classic valve but with an aluminum shell. I will have to weight it up. What's the rules on the barrel? I rock a shorty 6 inch barrel on it usually so it's super light weight.

          Sure!
This mag and CS2 Pro weigh exactly the same
These are $$$ parts here, but an AGD composite frame and ULE body gets you ~80% there and aren't all that expensive.

This makes me want to start a build, although I'll probably build a right feed, $150/$180 is bit high for the vert feed bodies if you ask me
