I’ve tried installing the valve with both a CF single trigger frame and with a Nummech double trigger frame. The on/off is a standard RT on/off with the standard length pin. No matter how hard I try to get a single shot out of it, I can’t. This makes the marker completely full auto and therefore not field legal. What would I need to check to get this thing under control? Until I get it sorted, I had to put the Classic valve into my primary Mag.

Present and accounted for. From what I can see, the seals appear to be in good condition, although I expect they could be deceptive given the tight tolerances involved. I believe I can see where your train of thought may be headed. Would I be correct to assume that a rebuild kit may be in order?Comment

Potentially. I would also check the sear edge that grabs the bolt.BeardedWorks.com (Your Inception Designs and Shocktech Dealer)

I’ve actually tried two different sears by swapping the valve between markers. The edges are both in great shape.Comment

Edit: This information is incorrect, check post #7 and #8 for more details.
With no air on the marker, hold the trigger back and air it up. Does it full-auto fire as soon as it's aired up? If so replace these two o-rings. if that doesn't work, the look at the on/off. Last time I ran into this though, it was these two o-rings allowing air to bypass the on/off and flow directly into the dump chamber.

Mystery solved! Thanks, guys. Moving that o-ring did the trick. I still went ahead and ordered a rebuild kit just in case (I’ll need it eventually anyway). At least the marker is controllable again.Comment

That’s odd. I wonder why it’s firing single shots again then. Well, I suppose a deep dive is in order. Perhaps my troubleshooting inadvertently fixed the problem for now.Comment

Hard to say what happened, to be honest I wasn't really following the thread all that close, I just noticed the oring in the the back of the reg seat.Comment

Yeah, I’m guessing that reseating the regulator pin assembly is what did the trick. I can tell it’s still not 100% right, but it’s a start. Given the laundry list of quirks I’m finding with it, I’m going to do a complete tear down and rebuild once the kit arrives. Probably best to leave no stone unturned.

Just as an update, a rebuild kit was the right call. I did a complete tear down of every component, replaced every seal, and tuned the Level 10 kit. The marker is now shooting like new.Comment
