    Reactor on/off Help

Bought some what of a franken valve for cheap has a ans phase 2 back, ans bolt and a reactor on/off. Was hoping someone out there might be able to clarify the oring config and direction of the insert. I'm having issues where the trigger won't reset and is dead. If I crank up the pressure it will vent out the back and can hear air purging down the bolt. Came out of the gun like the picture. I replaced all the rings with new ones out of a fresh agd kit as the larger old ones literally crumbled. Only pictures I can seem to find online only show a single large oring and a single small so hopefully someone out there has one and can shed some light. If I can't get it to work gonna probably just order a new classic on/off for it.

That looks correct. If you push on the bolt does it reset? Wonder if the bolt spring is weak or maybe the spacer oring too tight.

For spacer oring you talking the one behind the power tube or the rings in the on off? I feel like to keep that little disc in place you gotta kind push that disc down a bit maybe it's squishing down too hard and bonding the rings up. I oiled them up a bit when I popped it all together. This has me scratching my head as I've rebuilt a bunch of regular classic valves and never had an issue. This one is just fighting me.

I am referring to the power tube. oring and the powertube spacer. Make sure that is assembled correctly.

Brand new spring, and switched out every oring in the gun for fresh. Will try pushing on the bolt see if that helps when I get back home and can air it up. Should probably check the sear trip rod as well as this was pieced together with parts out of my box and eBay, but figured the rod would at least push forward and have some resistance it's straight dead.

Well got sick of this valve not working so dropped in a factory classic on off from my parts bin. Fired right up with a lev 7 and a fresh gold spring but was getting a double tap effect, then could get it to rt which I didn't know a classic would do. Played with pressure no change then popped in a foamie bolt and a black spring and it worked fine. Only thing I'm guessing is maybe check the pin length it see if it has been shortened, it was used when I got it or maybe sear wear? For now seems to be working fine with the black spring and foamie bolt.

black springs are very old. Get a gold one to be certain you are good to go for a while.

Tried it with a brand new gold spring fresh from agd and for whatever reason that spring it wanted to double tap or go full rt like with the foamie less level 7 long nose. Gap on sear rod was a little over thickness of a credit card. I need to pull the on off pin my guess is it may have been shortened by the previous owner. Only thing I can think of that might cause it but by switch the bolt and spring it started behaving.

All brand new seals throughout, now this one also had the old copper spring instead of the normal spacer in the power tube. Didn't have a spare spacer so replaced the rings and reassembled with the spring. No leaks so figured good to go.

Pulled it apart today....sear is good and chamfered over on the tip. Surprised I didn't check that before...should be an easy fix.
