    Reverse zgrip????

I was in the garage tinkering away at some markers. My son walks in and starts grabbing some. Getting a feel and such.

He grabs the zgrip that is sitting there, no barrel and points with it. He is pointing it with the barrel end towards him and ask how are you suppose to hold this. I show him, he is holding it backwards and it's so to keep you from chicken wing your elbow. Make you compact behind your marker and obstacles.

He gets it but says the frame going other direction fits better, more comfortable. I try it and it kind of seem to.

So do you think a reverse zgrip would work. Or maybe reverse Ygrip. Would be cool look and new take on classics.

    A grip based on a reverse z reminds me of a vm-68 gripframe, and wouldn't a reversed y would be a 45 frame?

I am liking this. Would the idea be to keep the trigger in the rear with some sort of reverse sear?

That would be hard one to do since trigger would resting on your palm. And my thump is not faster than my other fingers. Thinking single trigger groovy grip on the front.

        "reverse Z"
That makes me think of a Ruger, or any number of other fire arms.

The Y would simply be a 45 grip

Yeah, it’s basically a 45 at that point…except with the trigger in an absolutely terrible spot.
