Came across this in my basement. What type of body is this? Also, where can i send it these days to get everything anodized? Thanks for any help offered.
Help with a new project??

It’s a body id like to buy from you -
That body is an XMT Evo. I think there was ever only one production run of those. Someone please correct me if there was a second run.
The Evo body is a bit unusual since it doesn't need a rail. Instead the rail is integrated in the body, which made it possible to have the milling extend lower than if the body had been - well, just the body.
As with all limited runs the price tends to go up once people realize that particular item will be increasingly harder to acquire. Some more so than others. The Evo body is sought after, and I would like to get my grubby little hands on one as well. They seldom go up for sale, so I don't have the faintest clue as to what it might be worth today.
So make sure you make your build with it as immaculate as possible. Oh, and it is mandatory to post photos here once it is completed. Pretty please.Last edited by Olsson; 02-13-2026, 01:44 AM.Comment

I don't even know mags that well and when I saw this I just thought "oh dang"Comment

This is actually a spyder clone called the Valve by Retro, as you can see on the back. Unfortunately they are only worth about two dollars, but I'll give you twenty bucks AND pay for shipping!
In all seriousness, this mag looks GREAT and I can't wait to see where you go with it!Comment

Agree with this. Make sure you want emag on this. Get frame and battery pack to see how it looks and lines up. Maybe you want to do a pneumag frame instead. And possibly a different drop, on/off. Looks like you have a drop mounted on a cp drop forward. I'd say a cp on/off would look good on there with the drop cp drop forward.

The drop won't be staying on. I've never like them. I picked this thing up a long time ago and don't even remember the details or who i got it from. Whatever happens, it will remain an Emag. It was always my favorite tournament gun and I've had them all in the 90' and 2000's
