    Sticky on/off pins

Was working on a mag for capedcrayola the other day and it had a stuck on/off pin that was preventing it from firing. I've encountered this problem on my mag and other mags as well. It just seems like it's fairly common so my question is why? The poly 90 rings that were in it felt way too small. I replaced them with buna 70 rings and the pin moved just fine after that.

So what gives? I'm not sure if my buna 70 solution will work long term or not, anyone found anything better?

There were polyurethane rings in the on/off? Mine uses the hard PTFE rings. I've had the pin get stuck in those when they were slightly out of spec or not deburred sufficiently.

The Automag: Not as clumsy or random as an electro. An elegant marker for a more civilised age.
