    Time to refresh the xmag

    First up, anno.

(Forgive the scribbled trigger, I just did this pic for FB)

Is it possible to match anno? Or do you have to redo everything? I've got a new beach, and I want to clean up the rub mark on the battery case.

Also, does anyone do any more modern style of be trigger for emags?

Lastly, I've been getting my butt whooped refreshing this, if I were to send it off, who deals with these (especially trying to get the sci-fi board and new battery running).

Yes anodizing can be matched, but it will never be exact. Caustic customs does a fantastic job at match anodizing.

if you need help getting the scifi installed and working I can handle that.

Excellent. I'm the one that's been bugging you about a breech modification. It's for this marker.

I sent out a cocker once for a color match ano and the person doing it just couldn't get a good match, it was always off. It ended up making sense to just do the whole cocker over again. I took the whole cocker apart and packaged the internals separately, then when he was done with ano he sent it to Cockertop to reassemble and tune, then he sent it to me. So you could do the same with your mag and save on some shipping charges and headaches. As for who to send it to, I don't have a recomendation on anodizer, but Ark, Caustic, and a few others post some amazing stuff, and to get your mag working Superman isn't going to lead you astray.

Worth noting I offer the same service, but for new builds recommend test fitting before breaking them down. I have had several customers have me ship the markers from here directly to the anodizers and back to me post ano for assembly.

Also worth noting that the stainless breach insert for the xmags can be difficult to remove if you don’t know what your doing.

Haven’t gotten tech from bearded works, but bought a valve off him and he has given me tons of valuable help troubleshooting my micromag rebuild. If had a mag issue I’d feel confident sending it to him for sure
