Hi folks! I posted a thread in the general chat about being back after a long break. Basically, I want a sweet automag like I used to see in the magazines back when.
That said, I’m a bit overwhelmed by options. Back in the day, I lusted after an R/T, but I don’t think I’m super into it anymore. But what about the R/T pro?
I do like the vertical feed ule bodies, and I’ve always liked the smaller form factors of the mini/micros. What’s out there? What should I be on the lookout for?
It seems like a level 10 bolt is the way to avoid blending paint, so I’m into that, too. I think…
It seems like an x valved mini/micro with a vertical feed and a level 10 might be the ticket. I don’t mind sleeper builds, and I also don’t mind the fancy anno/splash jobs, but I’m not super into a mix and match type look.
Basically, I’m overwhelmed, and trying to sort out a shopping list of what I’m looking for in a mag. Any experts want to weigh in here?
Edit- to add, I’m fine with tinkering and whatnot, but on the field reliability is important, especially since I don’t have a backup yet. I’ve worked on R/C cars and firearms a bit, so I’m not a fish out of water, mechanically speaking, when it comes to wrenching on the smaller scale.
