Mine shipped today, and I am very excited for this reg, I'll post up when it arrives. Every Nova I've handled was just INSANELY consistent over the chrono, and I suspect it's because of the regs on them.

I don't have the actual numbers, but on Facebook Nova said they will work at "high and low pressures" and in the video, they show it being used on an Autococker. I'll be throwing a gauge on it to see what the range is, then throwing it on a BL Defiant to see what kind of consistency I get out of it.

I emailed them. Operating pressure is 0-300psi. They use propriety regulator seats and will be included in rebuild kits.

Kinda disappointed in the operating pressure range. But does that follow with the Nova's operating pressure? I'm not familiar with them.

Maybe they can amend it with a different spring/shim stack? If they want it to be a hit, they better do that. Increasing max pressure to even 400psi will make it compatible with a lot more autocockers.

I think most of their guns are in the sub 200 psi range, so that makes sense. Kind of sad to see that they consider 300 psi high pressure....at any rate, that is kind of the ideal pressure range for my Defiant so I'm glad my plan will still work.

I spoke TJ at Bones & Ashes last weekend about the Guardian. He acted as if he was already working on new springs for the regulator that should allow increase it's operating pressure. I'd give TJ a call you're thinking about buying one but are unsure if it's operating pressure is ideal for your setup. He might have the spring ya need 👍

Oh and Nova's new N2 Dreadnaught is pretty darn cool. I'd consider buying one if they ano match the feedneck and Reaper barrel. Currently their polished slate w/ purple accent N2 are sold with dust black feednecks and barrel 🤔... for $800😧

So, I bought an N2 yesterday. Went with dust black bronze for the reasons above. Talked to Tj while ordering it, and they WILL be coming with ano matched barrels and feednecks eventually. But honestly I don't care much. Dust black will go with more aftermarket barrels I already have.

I see no need to modify the reg. It works well above 300psi psi. I currently have it running at around 330psi on my sniper. When testing I was able to set it as high as 800psi.

Yep. Mine held constant pressure on the gauge up to 800 psi no problem.
