    Yeah, the right side eye cover is straight unlike your typical t shape cover.

    Was told when I purchased this second hand back in 2012, Only 3 were made.

    the excal was for sale for at least a year before the viking was released, they made some product improvements during that first year.. the old frames had that hump in the middle to match the old 2 finger "french fry" trigger the originals were just milled from aluminum plate.., some "blade" style triggers wouldn't work with them, so they milled that part off in later versions.. it looks neat with the stock trigger, and a little funky with everything else
