    Sidewinder reg with 12g ?

Do sidewinders regs work well with 12g? On a scale 1 to 10?
I suppose oring material would play the largest role.
Don’t they usually come with denser urethane orings?

I haven’t had issues with a 2L+ I run 12g threw just about everything. Co2 will swell standard bunna orings temporarily because the Co2 permeates the standard black bunna and gets stuck and slowly leaches out. But it goes right back to its original shape with a lil time degassed so it’s not like it hurts anything.

There is nothing for co2 to rune as long as it don’t over pressure the reg and AKA regs are rated pretty high. Only time you might have an issue is if you left it in the blazing sun on a hot day pressurized and it spiked. But even then I don’t think you would have an issue AKA regs are built really well. I run 12g threw my CCM reg everyone said you can’t that was 10+ years ago. The rebuild kit is still in its package.

I say go for it it’s not like you can really hurt anything Co2 is not any harder on Markers/orings then HPA as long as the setup will handle the c02 pressure range. The liquid is just not good for electro solenoids.

McMasterCarr sells orings that won’t swell under Co2 pressure you could always swap them out if it’s an issue. I think they are made of Polly instead of rubber.

According to this video, it looks like they have a combination of urethane and buna-n o-rings: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MmfDd-SrKPA

I don't see there being any issue switching the buna ones to urethane so long as the same hardness is kept. Only thing is there will be a shorter shelf life (but longer cyclic life) on them.
