    AKA?

I saw this marker posted for sale and listed as an AKA marker. Looking at the pictures it doesn’t have AKA stamped anywhere visible on the body. Only on the front block. I did some research, on Merlins, VLMs and Works bodies with no luck. Is this an AKA marker?

I asked this on another site. Mentioned this looks like a VLM.

    Thanks

Curated Paintball had this listed on Ebay for quite a while. It dropped below four figures, and I had an offer sent to me at $850. I was very close to taking that offer but decided against it. It does have enough of an AKA feel to it that I can believe it is an AKA body. I can't remember if AKA stamped on the underside of the VLM bodies.

VLMs were stamped in the same place as Merlins. Their serial number started with VLM.

Not all of them start with VLM. Some say ZAP2000.

Ya, I’ve been watching it for some time now. Was debating on making an offer, but wanted to know or make sure it’s an AKA. I PM’d regarding the body being stamped with AKA. He never replied to me.. It definitely appears to be AKA, since the milling in front of the feedneck looks similar to that of Vikings.

    Thanks for the feedback.

Dude is in his apartment in NY hustling markers. Have you seen his videos? He’s got usps flat rate boxes filling up his closets and shelves. I’ve never seen so many used markers.

I've owned a few VLMs and Merlins. It's almost certainly an AKA of some kind. The picture is so small that I cannot zoom in to the frontblock to gauge the size of the banjo bolt. Most VLMs have MightyMaxs LPC tho.

That being said, I think the windows on both tubes is not that attractive. The feedneck probably isn't threaded either, def not if it's a VLM. It does look mostly complete tho, little things like the beavertail and cocking rod, and trigger plate are exactly what you wanna see when looking to buy a gun like this... But those windows just don't do it for me...

It is a vlm. It was confirmed by the previous owner. I tried to buy it before it was sold for too much too then listed on ebay.
