    How to keep up with AKA?

    I'm trying to stay in the loop on AKAs releases, but everything I ever hear is secondhand. I don't want to pester Jared via email or text and I don't want to have to check the website regularly for changes. Is there a newsletter or feed they post updates to?

    I've heard there's a new run of the Angel Speed JDS LPRs coming, and I'm really hoping to snag my first AKA marker if they finish up a batch of Vikings.

      They're not making any new guns, only parts. Their communication in minimal at best.

          I 100% expect to have that same experience, but that's kind of the goal honestly. Makes me appreciate the upgrades more.

          Like my Angel Speed. I'm going to send it to The Angel Guy for his Predator service, and I will appreciate all the luxuries that come with real eyes, a modern board, and 9v batteries.

          Whats the reasoning for the preference?

            They both shoot GREAT but the Excal shot is like a finely tuned autococker if that makes sense. Don't get me wrong, I'm in love with my FSP Viking also.

              Finely tuned cocker sounds nice, but I've got my Saber E-Orracle to finely tune. I have been loving the feel of my Angel and I've been assuming the Viking will feel similar. I have a bad feeling ill wind up getting both eventually.

              Part of the settlement AKA made with Smart Parts over patent issues included a clause that not only prevents AKA from selling future electro markers, it also required they destroy their existing stock.

              No new Vikings or Excaliburs are coming out from AKA ever. I loved these back in the day. I honor their memory with my LV 1.6 which shoots nicer and really shows how far the platform moved on since those days.

                  You can still get Ehm blanks so that's not necessarily true. Shooting a 1.6 doesn't "honor" AKA in any way. Not to mention any AKA will always be more desirable to collectors and old school players vs 1.6.

                      Sure, but I didn't go into the PE group and tell them the G6R is better than the 1.6 or LV2
