does anyone happen to know any sort of specs on the chain used in the AT series magazines? I think mags are gonna be less daunting the more I look at them. the chain is pretty unique though its a double eye and the arms look to be stainless wire essentially spot welded to the links. if chain is available in bulk only im okay with that as well.

Then chain were custom ordered and the "fingers" were hand soldered on the side.
lordkyleofearth tracked the manufacturer of the chain link a few years back (might have been over a decade by now ...) If i remember correctly it was only VERY large quantity, pay upfront and no guaranty it will be the same size and spec as the old ones (from memory the newer link would have been slightly longer). Soldering the finger were still a question mark; reliability in mass is a hard part.
If you find any leads, please share it wit us, I can print mag shells, but cant make new entire mags ...Love my brass ... Love my SSR ... Hard choices ...

In the cobwebs of my memory, I sort of recall talking to Robb about the magazine chain. Those "fingers" were indeed laser welded onto the links. I am sure the chains were used for some other industrial use, to accommodate for the bulk order. He never elaborated.Comment
