Those mag shims work wow , I like to use the first gen mags because they don't have the fins on the crank which allows 3 slots for paintballs to fall into instead of 2 slots if you have a mag with fins on crank.
However the first gen mags will bind and jam the mag , but if you use the shim like this amd creat a bit of a gap that will never happen because it off sets the balls enough , however instead of jamming, now it is slightly prone to blank firing but not nearly enough as if you were to use the mags with the fins on crank. I tested 80 rounds and only 2 blanks compared to the newer mags with the find on crank you will always shoot blanks

Look at the picture that gap with the black shim has to be exactly like that almost so that when thr fingers travel they almost rub up against it on the bend .

I have successfully made the leaf spring 2 times now.
when making making these keep in mind that the gap must be 1.5-2mm on thr top left for the pin to travel past the leaf spring .

here is a little something I have been working on. haven't got all the dimensions right yet, so test it out to see what I need to do to improve on it.

the adaptor will allow you to mount a ar15 handguard to your ATS. then the cap is to have it look like a AT-10.

Hey, was there any conclusion to the DAM mag adapter? I have an ATS and 4 mags that I have not tinkered with for a quite a few years just due to life, and checking on them today every single one has the right shell cracked in all the screw holes. I'll print the shells if I have to but I would rather not rely on the old mags if possible.

please keep me updated, I really want one haha. I have a stock AT10 with the stubby lapco barrel and a dishka tip that sounds like a firecracker every time I fire it and I want to use it again.

Of the variations of the ATS, the AT-10 is typically louder than the others. Putting a Dishka on the front and going to town with it is just plain silly/fun. Dishka on the front of any variation of the ATS is fun. Every time I use it on a field, I get accused of shooting hot from the sound alone, and people think someone around the field is shooting a live firearm. The refs that know me or after checking me get a kick out of the affect. They also love getting a chance to squeeze off a few rounds out of the ATS, especially with the Dishka tip.

Hahaha, that's exactly why I use it that way. It's loud as hell and scares everybody, but it's awesome and people are always asking me about it. I only have 2 functioning mags though (the other 2 are cracked/have the internal screw posts busted) and would like to use DAM mags and just not worry about the mags at all.
          Working...
