Anyone try these front block adapters?

I remember seeing these awhile ago, so I wanting to see if anyone's tried them and to what results

Seems like a waste of $20 unless all you have is a 99spec body and a 2kspec front block, which seems like a weird scenario in and of itself.

What about special front block or annoed alike?

I have one, using it to mount a 2k+ Bill Macke front block onto a pre-99 body. Well machined, never gassed up though. Gun is still very incomplete.

Inception Designs offers an adapter like that to make their 2k pump kits fit on a pre-2k body. This way they just have 2k pump kits and don't need to make a pre-2k kit.

Granted, its not meant to be used like a typical banjo bolt, but similar concept, 2k block on pre-2k body.

Also you could just buy a Meteor front block as they are 99 spec.

Just bought one. It may give a bit more air volume in the front, so we'll see. Options are good!

There are some problems... The bolt is milled for an o-ring (groove in the shaft of the bolt), yet all 2k+ front blocks I have ever seen have a ring milled for an o-ring.... So I guess he was assuming all 2k+ front blocks are square, aka no o-ring groove in the block? Sorry very confusing... LOL.

I spoke to the guy who makes them, and apparently the bolt face is supposed to recess into the front block like a flat top. And it just so happens that the ANS front block I have for test fitting is much smaller in the o-ring seat and does not recess correctly. So it's an ANS wonky or sloppy measurement. No problems! Highly recommend the front block bolt, very well made and the maker is very responsive.

I could see the use in the case of a minicocker. You wouldn't need a block with a 1/8" port and the mini adapter. You could use the ID mini front block
