Have a handful of these, they used to be considered the cats ass. I don't see them on many builds now.
Are they useful on a mech?
Do they need to be rebuilt?
They can leak ... I've never opened a 10-32 one so I don't know if the little one are rebuild able ...
As usefulness, unless you're venting a ram, they don't have a whole lot of impact ... but they are mandatory on some custom build that dont use 5 way valve.
They will help pull a few bps out of a cocker (or mech ion) ...
Love my brass ... Love my SSR ... Hard choices ...
Many can be rebuilt, but not all. Depends on which one you're looking at.
They aren't seen nearly as much any more because people don't build e-cockers with the intent of shooting as fast as physically possible anymore. They're really only worth using when you're trying to eke out the as much ROF as possible. With modern ROF limits, there's no need. Even a stock WGP ram can cycle at 15+ BPS. And on mechs, it matters even less. It can actually make timing the gun more difficult. And to take it even further, a lot of people don't like the feel of them on mech guns. They're too snappy.
