    Shocktech original parts check

I was able to source an original bomb 3-way in chrome and will get that installed and setup soon. I am now looking to get the proper inline reg on this guy. Can anybody tell me what reg it would have come with and possibly the color? I assume a silver or chrome Shochteck reg but just want to confirm before I start trying to source some 20+ year old reg.

    Thanks folks!

A chrome shocktech reg would not be wrong....

The hook ups were around before abd after the release of the regs though too. Early ones came with ergo regs iirc

First though for the love of Christ ditch the slick bolt and back block

I might have the originals, still got a few more spots to check for old gear. If I do not, any idea what the original bolt and back block where on this guy?

Bolt would have been Superfly or the alien bolt both either one is right

Back block world be a stock pre2k back block or a later shocktech back block that's milled like the 2k body for 99 bolts

If I remember right they were sold without an HPR or ASA new. At least the later 2k+ hookup models and the SFLs.

I was gonna say, maybe a silver Ergo reg is more period correct. I would slap one of those on if it were me.

The Ergo reg wasn't out by this point. Pre-2k guns would have come from the factory with either a WGP Sledgehammer or an Air America Vigilante.

                Confirmed from Ravi's Place:

                      This is correct. I think

and magmore is right it woulda been a WGP stock reg or an air America.

I’m a traditional cocker guy meaning I don’t give a damn about what parts they came with new with few exceptions, mostly very early guns when they had to make bad pneumatics work nice with loving care. But so few of those guns are in tact.

This is not a Hookups. Notice that this is a Pre-2k body. BBT did not change to Shocktech until after 2000. This is a Shocktech series gun from BBT, jsut like the links I posted earlier. Per those articles, the Shocktech series featured different milling every month or so, and was available in different colors per request. Notice that the OP's gun has the Shocktech logo laser engraved on it, same as the ones seen in the links I posted. Hookups bodies did no have this, nor were they available in fades. They were solid colors only.

For some reason I'm not getting notifications. It should let me PM you but you might not be able to send them back still.
