Hey guys, I'm looking for a suggestion on how to get a lug bolt backed out of the hammer that is stripped? I can feel the allen key slipping when I try to back it out.

Take the frame off notch a slot into the lug from below and use a screw driver to drive up into hammer from below. That is based on your hammer lug being normally accessed from the top of the marker.

another option is to completely degrease the lug and hammer. then put a dab of epoxy on the tip of your allen key, place in stripped key hole, wait for epoxy to cure. provides a filler for the stripped out adjustment and usually enough tack to grab..Comment
