Does anyone know if this pre2k will fit in a 2k?

Yes... as long as your 2k body is a 9/16" valve (ie: not a Trilogy/2k6 Black Magic/etc. - those take the 11/16" valves).

Cool thanks. Mine is an early 2000, 80k serial number, so that should be it then.

As Jordan mentioned also keep in mind that the supplied spring may be pre97 and it will be shorter than a 98 forward spec valve spring

To know which one, This is what I have found out from what I have built in the past: Post-2K valve springs are 1.25”-1.375” in length and Pre-2K valve springs are 1”-0.875” in length.

I have ‘98 Autococker with AKA’s 97 valve spring installed (Not shown in picture) and fits great which measured 0.875” length.
