Autococker valves, and a puffier (pump cocker) feeling shot, someone school me?

The ss-25 shoots amazing as far as shot feel goes (a very soft puffy shot), I realize that's a 11/16 valve.

Would a low pressure valve like a check it low pressure turbo valve give you a similar feeling?

I'm in need of a entire lower tube kit, I realize the feeling is all the components in unison. So I guess what kit should I start with?

If i was going to get a valve i would not be looking to pick up a delrin valve. I would lean more towards aka if your looking for a large diameter valve port.

I know you've handled a TON of different pumps. You think the tornado valve would be the best bet in this situation then?

I had a tornado valve on a cocker pump build and I had a lot of issues tuning it. They seem to be much more sensitive to spring/system changes than other valves.

If you are going for a huge open face then that is great. They can be a to get tuned correctly. When it relates to pump i end up going with ccm most of the time because it is easy. now that they are harder to get. you can get the autococker parts knock offs that are basically copies.

Assuming you're trying to make a 9/16" valve gun shoot like your SS-25, just get a CCM lower tube. The shot feel is much more dependant on the springs than the valve, but getting the full kit will make it easier to tune.

I'm running a Shocktech lower tube setup (Rat valve and Phat hammer) in one of my pumps and I'm very happy with it... shot feels relatively 'soft'.

I always go CCM internals for pumps. The spring combo they use is perfect for the hammer weight they use.

The old ccm valves suck. The new ones are good. If you have an old ss25 you have had for a long time it would probably would benefit from a new valve from ccm.

The ones that are not great are the ones with the delrin valve stem. Any of the ones with the oring on the valve steam are fine.

Inception makes a nice valve but the valve springs they use are very stiff. They are also a different ID than most cocker springs. Not sure if Simon went that route to make it more efficient or to clearance for flow on the cup design. But i didn’t like that my standard valve springs didn’t fit on the Inception cup nicely. I didn’t try a lighter valve spring because the kits I had (CCM) fit sloppily. Now Inception has various spring kit so that might be an option too. So you can get lighter ones now. But I’m not sure how that valve reacts to a lighter valve spring I’m sure you can dial it in with the inception spring kit.

Pretty sure inception uses a 11/16" valve which is the same as the SS-25. Just food for thought if you ever wanted to try to switch over valves/internals.

They make both 11/16 and 9/16 valves.
