    99 STO body logo

Did all 99 STO autocockers have the laser engraving on the side?

    like this red one

If someone ordered a custom anodizing would they engrave it?

I was under the impression that the only two colors for the 99 STO (with laser engraving) were black-blue-black fade for the full sized body and Black-red-black for the mini and those options by Jeff would be at a later date? So that one pictured is reanodized? could be totally wrong here!

I had a blue to silver fade mini without that logo on it, it could have been reannoed though

Are you running a rubber band to keep the bolt forward? Why the hell did I never think of that.

Mr. Hick Yep haha. It looks ugly but I’ve still never found anything smoother.

STOs were available as body kits as well, not just finished markers.

I have never seen a lasered 99 that was not a red or blue scheme. That is not a suggestion that they don't exist.

With old school paintball stuff it is always more likely than not that a few specimens are unique. Most frequently it was one of the shop rats that wanted their own cool marker.

When we were allowed to order the 99’s, our shop was maybe “allotted” STO’s based on A/C sales perhaps and we only received a few to sell . Our choice and the only ones I saw in the 99 full gun model were the Blue/Black full size and the red/black mini . I never saw a choice for custom colors at our place on the WGP order forms. Perhaps other shops with more volume had more options?

I said “ perhaps and maybe because I’m pretty sure that is how it went, but I don’t want to put the 100 on it as it was 24 years ago.

      Blue/Black

At first glance I thought it might be one of the body kits WGP was selling on their website at the time. However looking at the picture a bit longer I noticed pneumatics and frame is stock WGP, if anyone bought it as a body kit they probably would have gone with better aftermarket parts for their build but you can say the same thing if anyone spent the extra money redoing the anno why wouldn't they swap out the factory pneumatics and carbon fibre frame?

OK, just came across this video on Youtube refer to it as a 1999 body kit - STO milling.
