I’ve got a 2k+ sto body I was thinking of pumping. I heard a rumor that the sto bodies have a different banjo thread than standard 2k bodies. Can anyone confirm or deny this?

Very unlikely that you have one of the STO or ANS bodies that came with non-standard threads. My Old Feedback (300+) https://web.archive.org/web/20180112...-feedback.htmlComment

Some of the feednecks had problems as well during the early 2k runs . I had 1 STO and 1 Black magic that had such problems. These would not accept any other feedneck other than their respective Factory stove Pipe. From my understanding there was some quality Control issues for a very small run of them. However the banjos on these bodies were fine and had no issue with CCM Pump kits.WTB: Sovereign threaded barrel and Sovereign 1 parts

ive had some 2k spec bodies that were really picky threading on the front block screw, would have to be just perfect and aligned or wouldnt thread in like that^. you've tried couple times? oiled threads?
wonder if you could run a 9/16-24 tap through it to fix?Comment
