    Delrin bolt and o-ring ...

    Hello y'all,

I'll be making a bot for a project and I'm thinking about having a delrin front end (with reduced shank).

If I go delrin for the front end of it, do I need orings?
What clearance do I need to aim for it?

    Thanks,
    X

Depends on what you want from the project/bolt. I have several cockers that run just fine without the o-ring and feel smoother without bolt o-rings. It likely costs me some efficiency, but I don't care.

I remember, way back when, I had problems with AKA Lightning bolts being too tight. Aaron Alexander told me to just remove the orings and it would be fine.

Both of my rtp vipers have solid turned delrin bolts with no o rings. I need to make one up for the new jobber I bought from loophole. I was planning on making one similar to stock.

Alright, no o-ring it is 😅

It's not gonna be a "super performance tuned cocker" just a cool/unique semi ...
ILl be posting the project once I get it going somewhere ☺️
