Karnivor Velocity Issue

I took the Karni out yesterday to try and play with it but couldn't get the velocity over about 240. That was with the reg turned about 3/4 of the way in; going any farther in choked it out and it wouldn't shoot at all. I tried with my standard tank (+/- 400psi) and a full pressure tank but no love. The only thing I can think of other than possibly an issue in the HPR is needing to adjust the IVG. Does that sound about right?

Assuming it is the IVG, how do I adjust it? From what I've seen online there is a special tool to do that, and I can't find one in-stock anywhere...

Nyknight01 makes a 3D printed tool, I think AC Parts sells them too. I’d turn the IVG in a little bit and check the velocity.

Theres plenty of parts for the regulators if you decide to rebuild it. They take standard dash size orings and have a basic urethane seat.

Just checked with AC parts and they don't have the tool, however he said it can be turned using an allen wrench after taking out the snatch grip screw. here's hoping!

I've rebuilt the regs before, other than actually getting it off the marker that part is relatively easy 😁
