    Midblock Guide?

I'm trying to find any form of a guide for doing a midblock however I can only find halfblocking or links to the old MCB site.

Anyone able to point me in a direction?

almost the same without cutting the back of the body off. slot needs to be milled for the bolt pin to catch the hammer and need room to run the bolt sled

This is probably straight forward, but I'd rather ask to be safe

Are the JRC measurements the same for halfblocking the same for midblocking? (https://s30.photobucket.com/user/Jos...awing.jpg.html)
      • I assume I'd measure the 3.200" from the front and then add the .250 from that point to start the end mill?
      Any recommendations on a bolt?

yeah that should do it. i like the 2k5 black magic bolts cause they have 2 orings, prolly hard to find. ur gunna have to look around, they pop up once in a while. or post on wtb thread. i think u can mod the front half of an orracle bolt, or shocktech bolt to work as well- never tried it though. maybe check inception, they make mid block guns

What about a Resurrection bolt? Cheap, 3 orings and plentiful unlike an Orracle bolt (see my wtb btw) and it has a nice detent system.

Inception’s Trident bolt comes in any length you need. Including Mid/Half block.

I run a res bolt in mine, you have to play with o ring sizes a little to get it just right and watch your distances for the bolt face to seal in front of the breach but it can work

Also, did my mid block with nothing more than a drill press, Dremel, hand files, and a handheld hack saw

I didn't need to slot the lower tube for mine but I would have done it without hesitation as well if I had needed to

It also too about 7 years to assemble (in phases mainly) and I'm in it around $1k

I know it would sell for over that though. The mq2 alone is close to 1/4 of the value. But I'm pretty sure I'm going into my grave with it.

Just for eye candy, here you are.

I got it as a bone stock 2k5 superstock. Every single part down to the screws has been either replaced, modified or both

To use the karni front block did you have to modify it at all?

                  Trade for wife?

                  Warning, she costs more

                    I have 2 cats and a dog.

She will have to compete with my wife for dominance

I'm up for watching some mud wrestling though
