What bolt can I use in a halfblock/midblock autococker

I have a bolt from a smart parts impulse that's been modified to fit. It seems a little fat. I know ICD has a bolt made for midblocks, but what is another brand? I'm having trouble finding anything other than ICD. The guy who sold me the frame/bolt said it was working when he shipped it, so I think it's fine. I just want to get something different because when I cock it and leave the bolt back, upon firing it makes a certain volume of noise. When I cock it back, push the bolt forward, and pull the trigger so just the hammer engages, it's much louder as if the bolt is holding it back a lot (friction). I can see where the bolt's sides are worn down, so it needs a few thousand more rounds through it to wear and fit perfect. (/s)

Has anyone have/had a midblock working well? What bolt did you use? Where did you get it?

you can see where the bolt touches the sides of the frame.

Inception or custom made. Stanchy had some in the past but not sure if still does. And if you do ever buy anything from Stanchy be sure it's through eBay, dude is sketch

even with canada saver plus? haha I don't know the parcel service but I saw it on ebay for a similar sized part. Might have been $8-10, let me know your price, we might be able to work something out

so.. staunchy, inception, and ressurection are the only ones? I'm not opposed to making a custom bolt if someone knows which one is a good start. Preferrably something delrin/synthetic

Do yo feel the friction or is it just the noise test that bothers you? If its just the noise, keep in mind the transfer port on the bolt and transfer port in the body won’t be aligned when firing if your letting the hammer drive the bolt forward. You’ll get a lot less air out the barrel that way.

edwin tribal bolts may be compatible as well if they are still available.

the change in noise made me notice how slow the hammer moves when the bolt is engaged versus when just the hammer is engaged and released. There seems to be more friction towards the back of the bolt as if it tapers out to a larger circumference. I don't want to just go at it with sandpaper, but I think it needs to be shaved down. That's why I just want to buy a bolt that works so I can delete one possible bad variable from the equation never heard of edwin tribal, gonna check it out. thanks

Bolts for tribals made by/for edwin. i had one in a pumped BKO years ago and it worked for that.
