    Side Feed WGP Black Magic

I won the auction on a right feed WGP Black Magic last night.

Does anybody know the history on these and how many were made?

Also curious on what folks would consider the “classiest” route for building this up. I was thinking a matte black Benchmark Slide trigger that I have stashed away with some new Inception pneumatics.

They were pretty limited i want to say sub 50 and more like 15 were made. More than likely just a small sample batch from left over right feeds.

I would just build it as is and try to match the frame to the existing anodization as well as pneumatics if possible (if going the cocker route) This would be a super monochrome build.

Is it just me or does that look painted?

Either way they are pretty rare, that's also a dye vertical adapter

The listing said cerakote, I’m not overly keen on the color to be honest, but I’ve wanted a side feed Black Magic for a while, so I took this opportunity.

I vote STO WGP stock pneumatics, and ditching the Dye vasa and front block.

I really like the side feed version. The vert feed in front of the sight rail always looked funny to me. Don't get me wrong, I bought one in 1999 (I think?) when I went into the store to snag an STO and they talked me into the new "Black Magic".

I was the one who messed up this body with the cerakote. Had someone from here do it. Didn't realize at the time that I should have anodized it. I heard 1 of 5 or 1 of 10 but have zero proof of that. I like your idea of matte black frame with hopefully some matte black pnuematics. If I had won the auction that's what my route would have been.

I contacted the seller, was really hoping it was possibly a powder coat (some of which can be chemically removed?) and not authentic cerakote. The thought of blasting the cerakote off killed it for me

I think it looks better in person than in the pictures.

As long as none of the tolerances are off it should be a fun shooter once I get it built.
