Recommended Trilogy LPR setting after installing the DFF-20 Lazarus

I just installed a Lazarus valve in my Trilogy Comp and haven't yet finished reassembling the marker. I've got the stock Trilogy HPR set to around 200psi, but don't have a reg tester that is set up for testing the LPR, which I can only presume is still at or near its stock setting. I'd rather avoid having to make multiple adustments of the LPR since I have to cut the hose to the 3-way every time I want to take it off. Anyone have any suggestions as to the recommended LPR setting, in terms of number of turns in/out? Is it going to matter that much, since I should have plenty of recocking force compared to the lighter main spring pressure I'll be running?

I'm using what I believe to be a stock hammer and the lightest spring from Inception's hammer spring kit.

Cdn_Cuda, this is the one I bought off you a couple of years ago, so if you happen to recall it having any other non-stock parts other than the valve I removed, please let me know. How on earth did you get that Empire Sniper valve in there anyway? I had to use wooden dowels and a mallet to force that bastard out. Destroyed the cup seal and chewed up a few dowels in the process. Sumbitch did not want to come out. Eventually ran a bit of steel cable through the valve body and pulled on it with pliers to get it through the last few inches. Guess the o-rings had swollen or maybe the face of the valve body had mushroomed a bit from me using a stiff spring and cranking the IVG too far in.

The Automag: Not as clumsy or random as an electro. An elegant marker for a more civilised age.

I can usually just pull the hose off the front barb.
You can also replace that front barb fitting with a banjo style, or a push to connect.

But you will have plenty of recocking force, you can definitely turn in down. My experience with the Laz is that your recocking force needs to be higher than it's minimum (super low) to prevent blowback from the bolt popping open.

I don’t t recall any issues with the Empire valve into the marker. It’s the same size as the Trilogy valve. Usually give it a good greasing before sliding it in (Phrasing). I sometimes use the centre rod of an old swap for removing valves or gently tapping them into place.

I’m pretty sure the only change was the valve as I had one kicking around.

On a side note I have a current trilogy pump I’m thinking about throwing a Lazarus valve into so interest to see how it works for you. Need to put a big order into Autocockerparts.com
