My first cocker build

Hello MCB,

I thought I would share my first cocker build.
A while back i bought a TJD pump assist kit. It always been something i wanted to have ...

It all started with this little guy:

I got it from a member here. I like the concept, it small and compact, but i didn't like the feedneck not the left over top rail. So jurst order of business was to remove the feedneck:

And convert it to a low clamping style:

The other thing I wanted to have was an air through frame.
My first idea was to use a palmer reg on a "modified" frame i bought for testing a while back.
(by "modified" read someone chopped the trigger guard off and the double trigger down to single with a hack saw)


But it was too long ... so i ended up with an empire reg:

I still have some timing to do, and the TJD pump kit leak some ... some o-ring changes are needed (the ones on the print are the wrong sizes).
But the form factor is exactly what i was looking for

I love it, and this is why i love cockers. You can build something thats truly unique and specific to you. Great job on that thing

And its funny i think i have that same barrel/tip sitting in my barrel bag. Had it forever and never seen another one
