eblade frame 'window' replacement - best option? DIY?

Best option for replacing E1/E2 frame display windows?
Anything out there or should I just get out the dremel wizzy wheel and some random plastic

I have made my own from whatever clear plastic I could find and some E6000 glue, but you can also spend money and buy the part on eBay.
