So, what is the difference? Are they compatible? I have a post 2000 cocker body that I'm slowly getting up to speed, and the hammer that I currently have has some corrosion. I've never bought a hammer before and realized.... I'm kinda dumb lol

Threaded vs non threaded hammers

When you see threaded vs non-threaded that is usually referencing the rear of the lower tube, as it affects what velocity adjuster you use. On unthreaded bodies, the velocity adjuster is held in with the beaver tail screw. On threaded bodies the velocity adjuster is essentially just a threaded ring that threads into the tube. I don’t think the hammer specifically cares, but if you’re looking at full lower tube sets then that would matter.
