I bought one of these when they were $130 new cause no one wanted them, was the all black model though and yeah it was stupid fast I was amazed I was using a torque loader at the time that I magnet modded so the cone didn't constantly spin

I seriously don't understand how much hate there was for trillys back then.

I don’t understand it either. I like my Trilogies the most.

They caught hate cause you couldn't adjust the 3 way so it wasn't considered a "real" cocker and was junk, then when cheap ass's like me started modding them people found out how good they really were, oh and the extruded body no one liked cause they aren't perfect, both my sport models have weird waves and stuff on the body from the manufacturing process

And the odd length valve spring, and you couldn't use some standard cocker parts like lors and 3 ways, hell wgp did right when they made the trilogy if you ask me

The 1.5 frame always gets a bad rap as well, and you can't really change the ram unless it's stock wgp or ST

I think the body is cast, not extruded. They definitely feel cheaper than a pre2k body.

It was the first Cocker made overseas, was it not? Might explain a bit of the angst.

It's the cheapening of the Autococker into something mass produced in a clamshell package for the Walmart crowd that chapped the WGP purists. The fact that it was an import didn't help.

And I get it. Paintball lost something intangible when the industry conglomerated and offshored. But it was never really about the merits of the Trilogy

While non cocker standard valve spring, I do enjoy that I got it ripping with a Spyder striker spring! So kinda standard... Out of a different marker. 🤣

Yeah you can always cut a Spyder spring to make it work and tune it but some just don't want to do that or are scared they gonna mess something up, im gonna try a lazy valve in my main trilogy build and I'm gonna put a Palmer's LT in my other one, don't know if I'm gonna use Spyder springs or Superman's 3d printed spring perch and run standard cocker springs with the LT
