2nd Opinions Wanted - Orracle Build

So apparently I need ANOTHER gun to (re)build. Snagged this body, serial #195, and was wondering what YOU would do with it:

I did pick up a raw back block and front block, but I'm torn between a full factory-spec restoration or just going ham on it. What would you do?

Update it and have fun. Lots of options for internals and pneumatics. Build something wild!

I would not buy from curated even if he paid me.

Is it possible to Ano it like the code from the Matrix? It being an oracle and all? Full custom oracle Matrix edition.

Despite my reservations, occasionally he/they have a decent deal. Snagged a beat up Dye reflex from him for a fair price, and now this body. Probably paid a little extra, but for a super low serial and undrilled I wasn't going to complain.

I don’t blame you. 😁. I constantly browse his store. I appreciate the forums sentiment though. We seem to all be on the same page.

He usually gives you a decent discount if you message him on FB. You have to be buying several hundred bucks worth of stuff tho. It sadly only takes a bolt and a trigger shoe reach a few hundred these days.

Orracle need bright color anodising (green, yellow or nice silver to blue fade).

I would personally put a pump kit on it and I am a big fan of midblock too. Would be my prefered setup.

get the feedneck cut for empire spec feednecks. Sits lower, looks better and has a few different options for feednecks.
If you need help with that give me a shout.

that body looks like it comes with internals I dont think curated took the time to take them out judging from the pics lol. He sometimes lists stuff for a good deal..

The only time he has good deals is when he doesn’t know what something is. Then its usually way under priced

          Trade it for an automag.

No? Ok. Probably a slide frame mech build then

I’d go for one of Mozak’s new frames with the ASA attached.

Are the low serial number Orracles really that desirable?

Matching front block is going to be hard to come by so I'd say do a pump build. The empire feedneck mod is cool but honestly not needed especially if it's just holding a mini hopper.

Good looking body though. I've got 3 or 4 orracles now; they're the best looking WGP bodies imo.

The first thing I'd do is buy an Orracle backblock from PBG. Luckily they are the full body backblocks and not the Mini Orracles. Also buy a set of WGP LP springs while there. Make sure to get the set. They charge the same price for the hammer spring, valve spring, and the set together... for whatever reason. It can run around 225psi with those springs and a WGP stock valve guide, and velocity can be set via the HPR like Shocktech internals.

Next I'd get an Inception extended reach kit. They are. Better than just plugging the VASA holes because the cover helped guid the timing rod.

Then send it to Mozak and have it add his Orracle / Worrlock milling which includes the Empire feeedneck mod.

Add an Empire SYX feeedneck, you can find the feeedneck, thumbwheel, lever, bushing, and 6-32 screws at PBsports. Or get a Vanquish v2 feeedneck, SYX lever, and Exalt thumbwheel from the same place, youd need the bushing from PBG or ANS (ANS also stocks the 8-32 thumbwheel). I'll send you the 8-32 screw(s) if you need for this feedneck options. I had to buy a box from McMaster because I use mostly Empire feednecks. I think they look so much better than IDs or Sconi's. Dye's looks great but doesn't have a thumbwbeel, but maybe Exalts DSR thumbwheel would fit.

3 oring Shocktech bolt from Angry Paintball

From there, add you favorite pneumatics. I personally think Inceptions would look better than Shocktechs. Or go mixed with a ST Bomb II, Palmers LPR, and ID/ST ram.

CP v3 HPR or the PE SL3 HPR that PBG sells exclusively.

Add your favorite frame and ano.

Thats exactly what id do 😎

Already have the back block on order - I think PBG is now under the Adrenaline Paintball and Airsoft name now?

Actually got lucky, and this thing came with ST lowers!

Yeah PBG must have been bought out? Or airsoft is sadly that large of a portion of their business? Either way I'm gonna call it the name of the place where I bought my first 'nice' cocker from, a Mini Orracle body. I remember debating if $80 was too expensive for it lol

And you got lucky on the ST internals. It's like finding a crisp $100 bill rolled up in the lower tube.

I currently have two Orracle bodies waiting to be put to use. Ive also been considering my options if you couldn't tell. What are your plans so far?
