Efficiency

I'm curious what everyone is getting efficiency-wise with their cockers/snipers.

I have a 2k+, 9/16 valve with Inception pneumatics and internals. HPR at ~300psi. On my 45/45 I seem to drop ~3000psi from a hopper and pod. No leaks.

Also using a PE S63 with .675 insert with paint boring to ~.679. Edit. Actually at the time I was running a .688 one piece and wedgits.

There are so many factors that have to do with efficiency on a Sheridan style marker.

shoot a few 12g CO2 carts for an efficiency test, those will give you a good answer fairly quickly

It can vary wildly depending on setup and tuning. On the higher end, you can expect 1500-1800 from a 68/45. A more typical setup is probably closer to 1200. With ID internals, you should be in that 1200 range, at least. But as mentioned, a lot goes into it. Springing makes the biggest impact, and from there it's important to sweetspot the reg and use a good fitting bolt.

I find the ID lower tube components to be a bit underwhelming, but definitely not horrible. They're usually comparable to stock WGP parts, probably a little better. Their bolts, on the other hand, have always been terrible in my experience. Literally every time I get insane blowback up the feedneck. Like, launch a ball 20 feet into the air bad. If you're experiencing similar, that will definitely contribute to your poor efficiency. Other than that, I'd go back to springing. Generally speaking, heavier springs will be more efficient than light springs. Obviously you don't want to go too heavy; it's a balancing act of finding the lightest you can get without wrecking the efficiency.

The barrel will make a difference, but not that dramatic. Best to worst is going to be a difference of like 100 rounds.
