    Mini Autococker Springing

Trying to get my psychoballistics superbolt that has a mini body over 250 fps. Have spent multiple hoppers of adjusting the regulator and ivg little at a time but was never able to get it over 250. It has a freeflow valve with the stock springs and stock remaining lower tube. Any recommendations or should I be looking at a spring kit? If I get a set, which springs should I start with? Appreciate the help.

I ended up with a Docfire kit for my last build. I would recommend making sure your HPR is set accordingly.

second the docfire kit. superior product. reg tester also so helpful with cockers, to at least know your starting point - 350 psi is a good one, then spring accordingly

Is it possible the hpr seat is gone and making the valve too difficult to open?

I was starting at 2 and a half turns in from flush. I thought about adding a volumizer as well but just hadn't looked into them enough yet to see if it was something that could help.

What is the output pressure on your bottle? If you dont have one definatly try to make one. Any old asa and a gauge will work. If you plan to test tanks and inline regs use a 1k gauge. I have some old trilogy regs if you need one

I'm not sure on the pressure of the bottle, it was one of those $25 JT 48ci ones from lonewolf, so whatever those run at.

I don't have one but the local field does so I might try that route first to see if I can figure it out there. If I think I need one myself, I'll definitely reach out about the gauge, i appreciate it.

I have the fire kits in stock if you decide to go that route. (https://beardedworks.com/products/fi...b5014a8f&_ss=r)

If you have sweetspotted the regulator and are not getting velocity with the ivg a few turns in, you may need a stiffer main spring.

I appreciate the link, I believe this is what I'll end up doing. I believe I've sweet spotted the reg the best i could, just kept opening until I dropped fps and backed off a bit. Have a recommendation on which spring to start with from the kit?

Test your HPR pressure. Some DYE Hyper 3 regs couldn’t get above 250 psi without extra shims.

This is super interesting as I am using this reg. I don't have a reg tester but the local field does. Unfortunately it might be a week or two before I make it back. Do you need the shims dye sells on their site or is it a hardware store run? Just looking for some more info on how to add more if that turns out to be the issue.
