Been cleaning/restoring an 03 Dye Reflex, and was wondering if anyone knew the specs/size for the trigger pin. This 03's trigger is just sluggish/doesn't feel right. There's a lot of side-to-side play in the trigger, and the current pin can be easily removed/barely holds in the frame. Wondering if that's creating an alignment issue causing the drag/sluggishness?
***EDIT NOV 12 2025***
Answering my own question after finding my calipers. .125" x .5" dowel pin (assuming stainless). I've put in a McMaster order for both oversized (99010A115) and slotted spring (97855A550) pins to see if that helps fitment at all. Also noticed a rough spot on the back of the trigger where it meets the nose of the sear. Will smooth that out and see what happens.
***EDIT NOV 14 2025***
Punched in the oversized dowel pin, took out most of the lateral slop in the trigger. Also spent a little time cleaning up where the trigger and sear contact each other. I think we're off to a good start!
