    Hammer catches sometimes

I am swapping parts on some cockers. Right feed is getting a benchmark slide frame pre 98 for both. The hammer does like a double catch sometimes. Where is like catches the very back of the sear, then if I touch the trigger, it drops to the normal spot, and then I normal trigger pull and it fires. Like a mini hiccup. Regardless of where the lug is. Think it is just needing to sand the sear? Or sear high? Anyone have that issue before?

Worked fine with a ccm hinge frame, so I do think it is something with the frame/trigger components

Sear protruding into the lower bore and catching on the front of the hammer?

Some sears and plates just line up too high into the tube.
It looks like you have room to raise the rear set screw on the plate. That might get you squared away. Shouldn't take much.

Alright, so the sear was too high. The sear was catching on the front of the hammer and then dropping down to the lug. The adjustment screws didn’t get it there. Threw in a shorter sear spring and it works.

              Thanks guys!
