    Detents

Where do you folks get detents these days? I checked ANSgear, but they only have CP, and I've heard they can be a hit or miss on quality. I wouldn't mind something that I can rebuild if needed, but that's not necessary at this point.

    Try Doc - https://docsshop.storenvy.com/

Shocktech, Inception, Check It, and Nummech all make great rebuildable detents of various modern styles, depending on what sort of look you need for a build. If you are wanting a classic or factory look, then autocockerparts.com has stock, or Doc has his eBay store with brand new replica factory style detents for a great price as well. I would avoid Custom Products detents, but their other products are great.

I run cp. You can rebuild it with a airsoft bb and a pen spring.

Once you have the ball in there it helps to bend the lip of the metal down just slightly.

I tried a killa detent before, didn't work... At all.

Once the threads caught in the body the body of the detent was already so far into the breach that it caught on the bolt. This might be specific to 2k5 cockers because the walls are a little thinner but still, come on guys. R&d a little

I had the same issue with a Kila Detent in a 2k5 body, definitely did not work. It did work in a Psychoballistics pump build for a while before shooting out mid-game. I don't recommend them. I saw another set on an Axe that just let paint roll out the barrel. I have heard they work well on 2005 Egos because you can't find regular detents for them anymore. I've seen too many Custom Products detents fail mid-game. They can be modified to work better if their style is really what someone is looking for, but I think there are plenty of better options out there.

I love nummech they are very easy to rebuildable and he shows and sells the parts if you need replacements

Oh very nice, they're also pretty cheap too. Might have to pick up one for a ULE body too while I'm at it.

Nummech is good quality and inexpensive, but I don't really like their look on cockers. Like I wouldn't replace one, but wouldn't seek one out either.

I have NOS nickeled WGP, CP, and Shocktech in stock.
Need Inception Designs or Shocktech Products? Let me know!
