Trilogy trigger and air upgrade questions

I picked up this trilogy for a fun gun to bring out on saturdays. I picked up the WGP single trigger slide frame and have a CP mini on/off ASA on the way.
    1. what hardware do I need to connect this trigger frame to the body?
    2. Does this single trigger frame use 1911 grip hardware?
    3. Reuse the original braided steel line or upgrade it to micro line? I have searched around and can’t find any in stock. Anyone know where I can find them with red micro line?
    4. will any of these changes affect the timing or need for adjustments?

If anyone has any recommendations for a feed neck upgrade that dont require machining I’m all ears.

    I appreciate the input.

    1) The frame holes should line up the same on the two frames, just use shorter bolt for the front. One thing to watch for is if the valve rentention bolt sticks out of the body it may give you issues with the slider frame. Easy fix, just file it own. The Hinge frames often had a space in it for these bolts.

    2) I believe they use standard 45 grip frames, which are similar or the same as 1911 grips.

    3) Macro is easier to live with if you're taking markers and taking them apart. autoccockerparts.com usually has coloured macro. Haven't looked at their stock lately.

    4) Yes, switching to a slide trigger from a hinge trigger means you need to flip the hoses on the 3-way I believe, as the movement of the trigger is reversed. You may need to dial the tuning in a bit. I've never tuned a mech trilogy so can't say how easy it will be.

Your local hardware store definitely does. Its a 10-32 button head for the frame screws.
1/2" on the front and 3/8" on the back (typically)

I installed a slide frame on mine. It may vary from frame to frame, but I had to pick up a Tech-T adjustable timing rod since the fixed length of the stock one wasn't the correct length to cycle properly.

Its a mixed bag. Some slot straight on, but most sliders don't.

I saw those Tech-T rods. I will add it to the shopping list.

For the grips , true 1911 frames on real steel firearms are fine thread. You want course thread for that slider 6-32 screws. Hardware store as well when you get your frame screws. Or this here.

The CP ASA and ANS cocking knob made it in today. I have the TechT adjustable timing rods on the way as well as a hardware kit for the frame from WGP. I’m going to grab the red and black Hydra grips from VZ Grips and some macro line and I should be set.

WGP trigger shoe and frame hardware installed as well as the TechT adjustable timing rod. I am waiting on the VZ Hydra grips and macro line with fittings. Timing is going to be next on the list.
