          Might even be able to reuse this body with a custom fitting ...

              Threads came out ok, but yes it was a custom anno….. From the looks of the break there may have been some variation in wall thickness, probably made worse by the anodizing.

                  you might have enough meet on teh body to drill and tap for a custom banjo ... it will seat off from normal, but itll be on there
