    Velocity Issues

    Hey Everyone,

Having issues with a build currently….. can’t get it
to go above 230-240 FPS. It’s mini 2k spec with a ATTKTX volly. Lower tub is Full CCM brand new from them. Running a AKA 2 oring bolt and. Aka sidewinder. Empire Flow Pro reg feeding the whole thing.

Have the IVG one turn and got the sidewinder adjusted till it started to drop then backed out. Went to the IVG and made half turn adjustments. With it pretty much all the way in, 230 tops.

Pulled the hammer spring and went with a AKA hammer spring that was a little stiffer. Same thing but less adjustment to hit 230 but can’t get it past 230-40.

Went with one more stiffer spring from a MadMan kit and same thing. 230 less adjust ment on the IVG but maxed at 230-40…….

Gave up for tonight but I think I’m going to re spring with the WGP match set that Autococker Parts sell tomorrow. Been a minute…. Any ideas and suggestions would be wonderful!

    Thanks
    -Mike

    Is it mech or pump?
If it is mech, does it hit velocity if your lpr is at zero? Is your cocker timed to tight and cutting the air off to the ball.
I would start 2 turns in on the ivg then adjust once you are getting velocity.

It is bladed with Morlock. Haven’t messed with any setting in that as of now besides putting it in classic cocker firing mode. Shocktech VASA into a Works front block. I’m 99% positive that the air passages when those two were put together were not blocked by over tightening…

Did not think to test velocity with LPR at zero. I assume when I do that I want the HPR to the point of where it peaks??

you are just checking to make sure the bolt moving isn't cutting the air flow off when it moves to the rear. The aka bolts have a smaller bolt hole then other aftermarket bolts.

I shall be looking into this today! It’s a works P block body and the bolt doesn’t mate up to the block like your typical cocker. Has play forward and backward until the pin is in. No stock bolt unfortunately. I assumed it was EVO length but maybe it’s not 🤷🏻‍♂️

I might have one someone sold me as standard length but it’s not.

I think the works p block is Evo length. I have one as well. Big question is, where do you play? I see you're in Dayton, a group of us play in the Cincy area at Paintball Country and cabin creek etc. You should check out the Great Lakes section I post our monthly games there or PM me your contact. You should come out. I play regularly at PBC. We usually play open and pump.

I might have exactly what you need I will take pictures and measurements tomorrow shoot me a PM if I forget. But I purchased an Aluminum CCM bolt but it’s not standard length it’s shorter. Im almost positive it’s been modified or is a works bolt.

Sorry guys, haven’t figured out how to comment under specific post yet haha.

Chuck E Ducky- Super appreciate the offer on possible bolt. Before you posted I tracked one down and it should be arriving tomorrow. Possibly modding an inception bolt to work for it also because I like 3 orings. I’ll hit yea up PM if either do not work the way I want them too.

Pogi Si David- I’ve played PB country twice last year and have been trying to get back down there. I’m sad that there isn’t a good woods format field near me. PB country was neato but cause of my equipment they wouldn’t allow me to play with the non tournament players which sucks. I’m 42, fat and have had a hip replaced….. I just like nice shit lol. I70 paintball is down the road but it’s more specifically airsoft now. I’ll definitely check out that section of the forum and plan to come out if available for yalls next one.

I can mod bolts for orings if you want to go that route.
