DIY copper stick feed for RF?

Wanted to ask the experts. When making a DIY stick feed to go on a right feed cocker body, is this 3/4" 45* or 90* female elbow the right piece? Does it fit snug on the feedneck, or need to throw on some tape? Or is there a better way to go about making one for RF's

I have a home made one here, let me dig it out. No idea who made it or where it came from, but it does have the same fitting your talking about.




What they did was add a ring down on the bottom



Then drilled and tapped that ring for a set screw to hold it onto the feed neck



Might give you some ideas?
