    1998 Autococker - $80 Marketplace find

Been dipping my toes back into Paintball/Guns lately. Local field is doing a Mech/Pump Day on Aug 22nd so I have been acquiring some additional guns from my era. This one I snagged for $80 along with stock barrel, and a Spyder Classic with DYE Aluminum barrel. Spyder Aired up and work which is cool, though I despise Basic Blowbacks. Aired up cocker and cup seal held but was clunky otherwise. Resealed LPR, 3 way, and swapped out another Clippard Ram I had in my old gear and she came to life. I will be putting a smaller LPR to clear the shroud. Put a mid weight hammer spring in and left stock valve spring. IVG is threaded on this 1998 so I set it just 1 turn past flush, aired it up, timed it, and was slinging some tiny balls at 280ish...though aiming up so avoid rollouts! Barrel is a DYE SS and the Bolt is an OTP Slingshot. Unsure what the front/grip/reg is but I put a new tank oring on it and its holding air!

An old cocker with a revvie, SS dye barrel, OTP slingshot bolt, and Hogue grips isn't bad for that price! Interesting to see the Dragun reg and ASA on there.

I was wondering what regulator that was...I do have a PPS Stabilizer and an Air America Vigilante here waiting for me to select which to put them on!

        Two things....

Take that bolt and throw it into the nearest body of water. They cause more issues then they fix... The biggest being gouging the crap out of the upper tube.

        Secondly...

That reg is from a dragun tes. Not the best quality.

I heard the gouging was from the set screw coming loose. Quick remedy with Blue Loctite. I will shoot it as it is for now and see how it does! The marker also came with factor bolt too though, non venturi. Thanks for the info.
